பட்டுக்கோட்டை கல்வி மாவட்ட அளவில் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கிடையேயான குறுவட்ட விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் நடைபெற்றது. தடகளம், கால்பந்து போன்ற பல்வேறு பிரிவுகளில் நடைபெற்ற இப்போட்டியில் 40 பள்ளிகளைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.இதில் அதிராம்பட்டினம் காதிர் முகைதீன் ஆண்கள் மேல்நிலை பள்ளி, ஒட்டுமொத்த சாம்பியன் பட்டத்தை வென்றது. தடகளப் போட்டியில் 79 புள்ளிகள் பெற்று முதலிடமும், கால்பந்து போட்டியில் கீழோர், மேன்மேலோர் பிரிவுகளில் முதலிடமும் பெற்றனர்.
சுமார் 30 ஆண்டுகள் தொடர்ச்சியாக வெற்றி பெற்று, இவ்வாண்டும் சாம்பியன் பட்டத்தை வென்றுள்ள இம்மாணவர்கள், வருவாய் மாவட்ட அளவில் நடைபெறும் போட்டிக்குத் தகுதிப் பெற்றுள்ளனர். சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்ற இம்மாணவர்களுக்கு நடைபெற்ற பாராட்டு விழாவில், தலைமையாசிரியர் முனைவர் அஜ்முதீன் தலைமை தாங்கினார். தமிழாசிரியர் உமர் பாரூக் வரவேற்றார். நகராட்சித் தலைவர் எம்.எம்.எஸ். தாஹிரா கரீம், துணைத் தலைவர் இராம. குணசேகரன் ஆகியோர் பரிசுகளை வழங்கினர். உதவித் தலைமையாசிரியர் நாகராஜன் நன்றி கூறினார்.
