தமிழகத்தில் மின் கட்டணத்தில் மாற்றங்கள் செய்யப்படுவதாக அமைச்சர் செந்தில் பாலாஜி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
அவர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தாவது வீட்டு மின் இணைப்புக்கான 100 யூனிட் இலவசத்தில் எந்த மாற்றமும் இல்லை.
பொதுமக்களுக்கு பாதிப்பு இல்லாத வகையில் மின் கட்டணங்கள் மாற்றி அமைக்கப்படுகின்றன. அதன்படி, 42 சதவீதம் வீடு மற்றும் குடிசைக்கான மொத்த மின் கட்டணத்தில் மாற்றம் இல்லை.
200 யூனிட் வரை பயன்படுத்துபவர்களுக்கு 27.50 கூடுதலாக கட்டும் வகையில் மின் கட்டணம் மாற்றம்.
நுகர்வோர் 100 யூனிட் இலவச மின்சாரத்தை வேண்டாம் என்று எழுதிக்கொடுக்கும் திட்டம் அறிமுகம் ஒரு வீட்டுக்கு ஒரு மின் இணைப்பு திட்டம் கொண்டுவர திட்டம்.

Minister Senthil Balaji has announced changes in electricity tariff in Tamil Nadu. He further informed that there is no change in 100 units free for household electricity connection.
Electricity charges are adjusted so as not to affect the public. Accordingly, there is no change in the total electricity bill for 42 per cent houses and cottages.
